Swedol meets professional users’ need for tools, workwear, vehicle accessories and machinery. Sales are conducted through own stores, e-commerce and mail order. Swedol is one of the leading companies within workwear and protective equipment in Sweden. In March 2018, Nordstjernan entered into a share transfer agreement with Swedol’s, at that time, second largest shareholder AB Zelda for the acquisition of the majority of its shares. In April 2018, Nordstjernan announced a public offer to the shareholders in Swedol. Following the completion of the offer, Nordstjernan controls 66 percent of the capital and 72 percent of the votes and is thus the company’s largest shareholder. Swedol is listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
