Nordstjernan CEO Johan Lilliehöök in place, new management begins to take shape

Johan Lilliehöök has, as previously communicated, started his role as CEO of Nordstjernan in April. In conjunction with the announcement of Johan Lilliehöök as new CEO, it was communicated that previous CEO Peter Hofvenstam would transition to a role as senior advisor. It was also recently communicated that Peter, as part of his new role, is proposed as Nordstjernan’s first Board representative in engcon.

In conjunction with Johan assuming the role of CEO and Nordstjernan entering a new phase, CFO Erik Hjelmstedt will be replaced by Jimmy Renström, who most recently held the position of CEO of Scania in China. Jimmy will assume his new role in April and Erik will support with a handover during the spring.

This concludes the transition period announced in November. During the period, Johan has spent time getting to know the company's holdings and Nordstjernan's employees - work that will continue over the next few months. During the transition period Pontus Boman, has announced his intention to leave Nordstjernan. Pontus has headed the Industry & Trade sector.

”Firstly, I would like to thank Viveca, Peter and all employees for their support during the last few months. I am looking forward to now step in operationally and begin the real work. New to the role of CEO of Nordstjernan, I have only heard positive things about Pontus and Erik, they have both contributed greatly to the company’s development. I wish them both well in their next steps in their careers,” says Johan Lilliehöök, CEO of Nordstjernan.

“I would also like to take the opportunity to welcome Jimmy to Nordstjernan. With his industrial background and international experience, he will be a great asset given our portfolio composition.”
